Maldon Salt had a U.S. presence for quite some time, but their distribution was previously managed entirely by a U.S. importer. This arrangement left Maldon with little direct control over the brand’s growth in the United States. Recognizing that the market was underserved, the overseas brand wanted to take back control of their U.S. distribution to aggressively fuel their growth.
